Amber alert! Maldivian fishes are missing!
I mailed all the fridge magnets to the intended recipients on Wednesday 18 January 2012 at Subang Skypark post office. For the 6 local addresses, I used small Pos Ekspres envelopes that cost RM3 each. Threw all 6 envelopes into the same bin, at the same time. For the sole overseas address I used a registered mail.
Until today, out of 7 mails being sent out, only 2 have arrived at their destinations. Kak Jaja got her green seahorse. Aida all the way in Spain got her yellow seahorse. But none of the fishes have reached their new owners!
Proof of delivery. Where are the fishes?
It’s really weird that those 5 mails are missing, as I sent them together with Kak Jaja’s. In fact Kak Jaja’s seahorse was way bigger than the fishes till I had problem closing the envelope and almost thought that Pos Ekspres would refuse to send it for being oversize. Yet she received hers.
I tried to use the online “Track and Trace” service on Pos Malaysia’s website to track on the missing mails. This was what the system told me...
... “No Record Found”! Are you kidding me?!
A message for Kak Lieya, Kak Lelord, Ninie, Messy Mummy and Erin:
I have sent your respective serial number to each of you. Do call Pos Malaysia’s customer service at 1300 300 300 and check on them. I really hope they will reach you safe and sound.
And I really wonder what happened to the fishes.
Shall I call Haratio Caine to investigate?
