We returned to Thulhagiri feeling really tired. Our boat transfer to the airport would only be at 8pm, so we still had a bit of time. Feast your eyes with some of the final photos that taken at the beautiful resort island before bidding goodbye.
A full view of Thulhagiri, taken from the boat on the way back from island hopping.
Spot the difference?
A crab on the shoreline.
The signature water villas.
The jetty where we would catch a boat to the airport later.
One advantage of staying at water villa is that you can go snorkeling at your doorstep...
...but be careful, no lifeguard around to save you.
What a nice place to stay.
Amongst the coconut trees.
At the reception area, waiting for time to leave.
Boarded the boat to the airport. Naseer (in striped shirt) came to send us off at the jetty.
All set to go home!
To sum everything up, it was a short trip but a really meaningful one, as it was Eila’s final privilege trip as a MAS employee. She will be moving to a new workplace in November, far away from KL. Being a great friend that she is, I will surely miss her company.
Goodbye Maldives! To my wonderful readers, thank you for patiently following every step of the journey!
