Rearticulated from a chat with a friend...
My friend Miss A teaches English to expat kids. One of her students, Boy B, is from the Middle East. One day she introduced a discussion topic on “One place in the world that I really want to go to is...” and the kids started talking with much enthusiasm.
Miss A: So B, if there’s one place you really want to see, where would it be?
Boy B: I want to see pig pen.
Miss A: *Puzzled* What? What do you want to see?
Boy B: I want to see pig pen!
Miss A: *Thinking why on earth a Muslim boy wants to see a pigsty?!* What is nice to see at a pig pen, B?
Boy B: I want to see the clock!
Miss A: *Even more puzzled* The clock?
Boy B: The clock! Pig pen!
Miss A: *Enlightened* Oh, you want to see BIG BEN!

...I repeated it again and again in my head and my day felt so much better!
P.S.: A little busy. Flying up north tomorrow. Tak jauh, dekat je, takyah pakai passport pun. My next update will probably be on Monday. Will tell you all about it :-)
P.P.S.: By the way, MATTA Fair is on from today till 13 March 2011 at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC). MAS offers great deals from now until 15 March 2011 (2 days longer than MATTA Fair). Enjoy!
