I’m in such good mood today. After several days of stuffing myself silly, I jumped on the scale and guess what, I’m still within my ideal weight range! Yippie!


Circa 46kg, ok laa kan?

Just one thing, I need to get back my flat line tummy. This semester’s classes clash with my swimming schedule, so I haven’t swum for months. By the way I’m a little picky when it comes to swimming pool. It has to have a certain level of cleanliness. The depth is important, not too deep so I can save myself if I get muscle cramps in between strokes. The size has to be right. I like Olympic size pools not because I want to be the next Michael Phelps but because the length is perfect to do laps, though sometimes I have to make a pit stop tengah2 pool pasal pancit. The lifeguards must be experienced, bukan setakat badan ketul2 macam Baywatch tapi tak boleh selamatkan orang. And if possible, separate sessions for men and women because once men get into the pool diorang berenang macam ikan paus gedebush2 sana sini and the water gets really wavy. It’s hard to maintain balance when the waves push you everywhere, and mind you, balance is an integral part of swimming so water won’t get into your ears or nasal paths.

So as an alternative, I think I need to do crunches. A fitness trainer once taught me the right way to do it using exercise ball to get flat tummy.

I’m thinking of getting one of those. Actually I wanted to bring my mum’s exercise ball to KL yesterday but as I was rushing to leave I forgot about it. How much will it cost in KL? Where is the best place to get it? Any of you have ever bought one?

P.S.: Just recalled that the past perfect for “swim” is “swum”. Macam kelakar :-p

i used to train to become a lifeguard once. masa tu 12 thn, and bercita2 nak buat part time jadi life guard kat swimming pool. My pamela anderson dream didn't follow through :s

i thought so too, yet some long unused brain cells at the back of my head screamed that it was actually "swum". asked pakcik google for confirmation, yes it was "swum" indeed :-D
i watched some documentary featuring baywatch a long time ago, actually org2 yg belakon jadi lifeguard tu ada yg tak reti berenang pun.. hahaha! carmen electra for instance can only dog-paddle!
imagine you with pam's chest, i bet you'll stay afloat all the time :-D

thanks! :-) susah tau nak maintain ideal weight lagi2 kalau exercise kurang, umur lebih, metabolism rate pun rendah. org nyer ni pun rendah jugak tu pasal takleh tembam2 nanti nampak mcm penguin. if u r tall setakat 54 kg tu takde hal laa kan, tu pasal ppl still kata isma kering :-)
yeah go swimming! sangat senang kurus and dpt flat tummy. kat uitm ada pool kan?

tu laa kan. dok teringat2 nak beli ni. hopefully tak jadi macam juicer tu laa, last2 dok dlm lemari. tapi bola ni tak muat masuk lemari, kena guna jugak!
